SGEN.

A six-service platform for parameterized searches, built with one other engineer. It enumerates C(n,k) bitstrings in one parallel GPU pass instead of a sequential CPU sweep.

My work
Authentication and entitlements
Built with
Python · FastAPI · PostgreSQL · Keycloak
All twenty six-bit strings with exactly three ones: C(6,3) equals 20.
Example output: all 20 six-bit strings with exactly three set bits.

The compute task

For n bits and k set bits, there are C(n,k) possible strings. The platform runs customers’ parameterized searches across those combinations on a GPU.

My contribution

I owned authentication and entitlements across all six services, including the Keycloak integration and access checks at the FastAPI gateway.

Request authentication

API keys are exchanged for short-lived JWTs through Keycloak using OIDC. The Python SDK caches the token until expiry; the gateway checks it on requests.
